We are currently looking for a Maintenance Department Manager for Obbola, welcome with your application!

Your Next Challenge

As a department manager with us, you will be a driving force for world-class maintenance, where sustainable solutions and long-term development are at the center. You will step into a clear and forward-leaning organization that focuses on creating continuous improvements together to achieve our common goals. Here, you will work in an environment that combines innovative technology and high competence with a strong focus on collaboration and joy at work across boundaries.

In this role, you will be part of an engaged team where you have two experienced colleagues working in similar roles. You support each other, share knowledge, and collaborate to drive the business forward. You will be the closest manager to engineers and three group leaders; the maintenance technology department includes inventory, planning, and IT/OT. In this role, you will be a key person driving the work to develop and improve processes and working methods to create increased operational reliability and productivity - while also having an important responsibility for investments, financial follow-up, and budget work.

As a leader with us, you are present, engaged, and passionate about helping people grow. You create an inclusive and safe climate where health and safety are always a top priority. You set challenging goals for the organization and create engagement within the organization to achieve them. You create results and make a difference - every day. The role is based at SCA Obbola.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a curious and brave leader with a natural ability to create energy and build strong collaborations. You see opportunities where others see challenges - and you are passionate about developing the working methods and technical solutions of the future. To thrive with us and succeed in the role, we believe that you:

  • Have a post-secondary education as a university or civil engineer.
  • Have gained work experience in leadership after graduation, where you have had the opportunity to inspire others and drive improvement work.
  • Master Swedish and English as the languages are used in daily work.
  • Are curious and see the benefits of working with development and improvement.
  • Are proactive and open to ideas that bring us closer to the factory of the future.

It is advantageous if you have experience from work in industry or maintenance, and it is important that your behavior aligns with SCA's core values: respect, excellence, and responsibility.

What Do We Offer You?

With us, you have great opportunities to grow and develop. We encourage competence development, taking responsibility, and realizing your ideas. At SCA, we care for each other, and we offer an open, supportive work climate. We also understand the importance of a sustainable work life.

As an employee with us, you will work with the very latest technology and be part of the transition to a sustainable society. Our forests and the products we bring to market contribute with a climate benefit greater than the emissions from all of Sweden's passenger cars in a year. We utilize every part of the trees we harvest and produce products from the forest that help combat climate change. Making a real difference adds an extra dimension to the work.

The application deadline is March 15, 2026, after which selection will begin. During the interview, we will check valid identification.
